Angie Atkinson has been singing and professionally for over 20 years, with an emphasis in rock and gospel music. Her music has taken her on tours through New England and the Midwest, including Boston and Chicago. For eight years Angie lived in New York, where she sang back-up for several bands and artists (including Calvin Richardson) and performed her originals with her own band at some of New York’s best-known clubs, including The Bitter End, Rockwood Music Hall, The Bowery Electric and many more.
She left New York for a change of pace and began her career on ships with Carnival, where she had three successful contracts as a rockband singer. Angie also has a background in theatre and most recently appeared as a production principal in Kinky Boots aboard NCL Encore.
After meeting and partnering with drummer Vitor Leony while working together on the Encore, they recruited bassist Giroux Wanziler and guitarist André “Deco” Liberato and created the party band 4 On The Floor.
